FOLKOLE

Reimagining the Andalusian Souvenir

FolkOlé is a souvenir brand I founded to offer a fresh perspective on Andalusian folklore, moving beyond clichés to capture the region’s character, culture and everyday life through a contemporary visual approach.

As the sole founder, I led the project from concept to final product, shaping the brand identity, photographing and editing the postcard collection, designing the website and packaging, and overseeing print production, quality control and distribution.

1. Brand Strategy & Identity: Developed the brand concept, positioning and visual identity, including logo and packaging.

2. Art Direction & Photography: Conceptualised, photographed and edited the postcard collection, presenting Andalusian culture through a contemporary lens.

3. Web Design & Development: Designed and developed the brand website using CSS.

4. Print Production: Prepared print-ready files, coordinated with the printer and supervised production to ensure the final products met the intended design quality.

5. Project & Business Management: Managed the project end to end, including production planning, supplier coordination and product distribution.

TEXTILE EXPERIMENT: CUSHION

A small sewing project exploring fabric, colour and texture. I designed and made a cushion from scratch, working with a sewing machine and learning the process of bringing a simple textile idea to life.

Linocut Printing

An exploration of linocut printing techniques, experimenting with different inks, colours and surfaces. Using a printing press, I created a series of prints to explore textures, layers and the variations that emerge through the printing process
